Cast (in alphabetical order)

Peter Barrett (Lycus)

Once upon a time, there was a lad named Peter Barrett who appeared with Chameleon Theatre in Into the Woods. His other recent performances include Guys and Dolls and Mame with Bloomington Civic Theatre. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Morris with degrees in Math and Theatre but not jumping rope. His favorite phrases include “You don't touch me, James!” and “I think she likes me dog.”

Lorine Bidgood (Soldier/Protean/Violin)

Lorine Bidgood is excited to be back with Chameleon. Besides her fondness for playing violin, Lorine also likes listening to bad karaoke, playing bingo, and can do a mean tap dance routine. Lorine works at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel as their resident “Girl Friday” and is a 2001 graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.

Andi Billig (Lighting Guru/Set Design, Erronius)

Andi’s happy to be involved with this, his 35th production with Chameleon, even more that Erin is working on the show with him (love you!). If only we could get Riley Bear in the show, we’d have a lot of fun. Andi lost someone close to him at the start of the production, and he knows that Natalie is watching and laughing at him – hysterically, and having a blast waterskiing year-round!

Frank Blomgren (Hysterium)

Frank wants to thank the Chameleon Players for bringing religion back into his life – all the rehearsals being held at various religious sites. As a non-practicing Unitarian (and who isn’t), he has no problem dealing with this diversified situation. A Buddhist Shrine would have been nice, but you take what you can. Oh – favorite roles? Vladimir in Godot, Rosencrantz in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

John Bruce (Miles Gloriosus)

Is pleased to be working again with Chameleon. Previous roles have included, the lover prince in Into the Woods, the angry office manager in GlenGarry Glen Ross, and the wild Annas in Jesus Christ Superstar. John works as a 5th grade teacher in Bloomington with a loving and hilarious staff. As a summer job, he does print ads and TV commercials. He would like to thank his family members for their love and support. Miles gives a special invite to any audience members who would like to party after the show.

Sarah Ciavarri (Domina)

Sarah is happy to be performing again with Chameleon Theater. Most recently, Sarah was in School House Rock Live!, Chameleon’s one acts, Into the Woods, and Jesus Christ Superstar. Working with this cast has been a joy. Sarah thanks her husband for his love and support. You’re a gift, Tim.

Aaron Coker (Hero)

This is Aaron's fifth show with CTC. He’s appeared previously as Moss in Glengarry Glen Ross, Barry in The Boys Next Door, Dr. Miranda in Death and the Maiden, and Fortinbras in Fortinbras. He's also worked locally with Theatre in the Round, Pig's Eye Theatre, and is a regular performer with Shakespeare and Company. He campaigned for “history” tonight, but was kept off the ballot by the DNC.

Garrick A Dietze (Pseudolus)

Is pleased to be back working with Chameleon. Previous roles have included, the attractive prince in Into the Woods, the truth-seeking martyr Caiaphas in Jesus Christ Superstar, and star of the police force Baylen in GlenGarry Glen Ross. His down to earth past times include riding boxcars, counting chad’s in Florida, de-radiating microwave ovens, and thanking his family for their support and love. P.S. for a good time after the show talk to Miles or Pseudolus.

Joy Donaldson (Philia/Props Design)

Having learned how to read and write her name, Joy is excited to be part of this wonderfully talented and fun group. She has been seen in such roles as Sheila in The Boys Next Door and Rapunzel in Into the Woods. Special thanks to the dogs and cats, and oh, that director guy.

Ann Frances Gregg (Courtesan/Protean)

Ann Frances Gregg is pleased to be playing The Vamp for CT2's production of Forum. Her Amazon-like height has recently been spotted playing The Matron or The Queen in such productions as Romeo & Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Tartuffe, and Don Juan (Shakespeare & Company). AFG's past dance and musical experience includes the roles of Girl in Rodeo, Evil Stepsister in Cinderella, Polly in Crazy For You and Adelaide in Guys & Dolls (Crox Comm). To prepare for Forum, AFG has painstakingly perfected the art of flirtation. Experts in the audience may identify such well-known moves as "The Stretch," "Come Hither," and "No Means Yes.”

Elizabeth Hartman (Vocal Director/Courtesan/Protean)

Beth is pleased to be joining the Chameleon production staff as the vocal director for Forum. Her Chameleon credits include Cinderella's stepmother in Into the Woods and the flight attendant in The Boy Who Dies with the Most Mommies Wins. Beth is currently undergoing training in California to become a Feldenkrais practitioner. If you have never heard of the Feldenkrais Method, talk to her and she will tell you all about it!

Cory Klein (Senex)

This is Cory's fourth show with Chameleon. He performed as the Steward in Into the Woods, the man in Pull Falcon's Feather Lever, and James Lingk in Glengarry, Glenn Ross. Cory is excited to do a comedy tonight. Stay tuned tomorrow for tragedy...

Kathleen Lomax (Courtesan/Protean)

Kathleen is participating in her first production with Chameleon. She appeared most recently as Avalaine in the Lex-Ham Community Theatre’s production of Talley & Son. Her favorite role to date is Murderer in Shakespeare’s Richard III at her alma mater Briar Cliff College. Kathleen is excited to be performing in her first musical, EVER. Thanks, Mom and Dad, for all your love and support.

Nick Menzhuber (Protean/Soldier)

Nick is very happy to be making his first appearance with Chameleon. His favorite roles have included Bazzard in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Jack in The Boys Next Door, and Mr. Beaver in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. His favorite Beatle is George.

Katie Novak (Courtesan/Protean)

After some pushing and shoving by Joy, Katie finally is making her debut with Chameleon. She is bursting with fruit flavor to be back in her old tap shoes and can't wait for the cast parties to begin.

Matt Schlukebier (Trombone)

Matthew Schlukebier, Super-Trombone, Man-in-the-Toga, Website Developer for Nonin Medical, Inc. Matt is currently director of brass music at Shepherd of the Valley LC, and plays in numerous other ensembles. While once a normal, sane individual, he is now forever traumatized by three years of musical performances with Chameleon, and is hoping for more.

Ottar Schmitz (Protean/Soldier)

Ottar had a less-than illustrious acting career at the famous Washburn High School of Dramatic Arts. Modeled after the school in the TV series Fame, WHS-DA inspired Ottar to act in a number of support roles in plays Midsummer Night’s Dream and Guys and Dolls before his career culminated in the “romantic” lead of Bram Stoker’s Dracula with disastrous results. He was so awful that he forswore acting forever until Brad Donaldson lured him out of a 13-year retirement with promises of big community theatre money, which will pay for a new addition on his house. Ottar would like to thank wife Anna, his family, and real actor Dan Johnson for their support.
