How I Wonder What You Are
Seven Original One-Acts by Seven Chameleon Playwrights
Under the guidance of Chameleon Playwright-In-Residence Timothy Braatz
January 8–24, 2004
Light Technician: Daniel K. McDermott
Sound: Andi Billlig
Seven original one acts based on the same theme or idea. In the Summer of 2003, Chameleon Playwright-in-Residence Timothy Braatz conducted a Master Class and Workshop in Play Writing. The focus of the workshop was to mine the talents found right here at Chameleon and hone those skills into an evening of original work.

The result of the workshop is overwhelming! Seven playwrights contributed touching and thought-proving scripts. Six of these scripts were submited for the evening of theatre. With Mr. Braatz's spin to a one-act we are presenting seven marvelous stories.

THE STORIES

An intense drama about a corrupt televangelist and subsequent consequences. An unusual trip through memory lane on an international flight. A harmony of sound and movement portraying the joys and tribulations of parenthood. An alphabetical exploration at sexuality. A unique view of what can happen in a room that's located nowhere. A touching tale of a daughter's astrological lesson from her father. And a final play that throws a character from each of the previous 6 shows in a room and sees what happens.

These plays make up the evening of How I Wonder What You Are. The shows were inspired by the title of the evening and carry that underlying theme. Here are the seven plays that make up the evening:
